JCB India had a digital zone in their pavilion at EXCON 2017, Asia’s largest exhibition of the Construction Equipment Industry. The brief was to demonstrate the use of technology in JCB machines, to solve customer issues, in an innovative and engaging manner.
We developed 2 interventions - An Interactive Print Touch-Wall and a Remote Rotoscope Slider Set-up.
The Remote Rotoscope Slider Set-up controlled by a tablet demonstrated information on critical manufacturing processes ensuring One Global quality at JCB’s manufacturing facilities in Pune, Jaipur and Ballabhgarh. The viewer could select a process he would want to see and the slider screen would shift (in rotoscoped motion) to the area demarked and show a video of that process.
The Interactive Print Touch-Wall had illustrations on how the different technologies work. It was enabled by touch and motion sensing. When a viewer would touch a particular point he could see the animated view of the technology and on the 2nd touch, a video was triggered.
These interactive installations were a big hit, giving the target audience a premium brand experience and also creating involved engagement at the exhibition.
